Dr. Bushra Mumtaz

Dr Bushra enjoys all areas of general practice, and brings with her a passion for child health, womens health, geriatrics and mental health.

Dr Bushra Mumtaz graduated from a Medical University from Pakistan in 2008. She worked in Medicine, Gynecology and Obstetrics before moving to Australia in 2011. She worked in Bundaberg Hospital and later attained her Fellowship in Australian General practice FRACGP in 2023.

Dr Bushra is an ambitious doctor aiming to provide the best possible patient care in the scope of General Practice. She thinks empowering patients by educating them about their medical needs can yield best possible outcomes. She finds her clinical work very rewarding when her patient’s health goals are achieved. Her special interests are women’s health, child health, Mental health, chronic disease management

She loves to spend time with her husband and 3 kids outside of work and loves to read books and trying new recipes.

She is currently accepting new patients and is open for appointments 4 days in a week.
